Pacific Jewel is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom pet friendly home with a $75 pet fee. Great views of Bodega Head, Point Reyes to the south and the 9th green of the Links at Bodega Harbour. A nice deck upstairs and a large patio downstairs make it a great place to relax inside or out. Located on Gull drive, it's just a short walk to the clubhouse and the beach. The upstairs bedroom has a king bed, and the downstairs bedroom has a king, the den downstairs has a sleeper sofa. Flatscreen TV's in the livingroom and the den, wireless internet, fireplace, gas bbq and a well equipped kitchen make this the perfect Bodega Bay getaway home.   We spent a long weekend with our close friends from our "bubble." The two bedroom suites are on different floors, the living area is huge, and we enjoyed walking, local take-out seafood, and cooking in the large kitchen.

  Great views, staff was flexible which we appreciated. Spacious rooms, large kitchen. BBQ is in the front patio - not oceanside. Recommend the nearby Pinnacle Gulch Trail at low tide for a 15 minute hike to a mostly empty beach that is filled with sea life. We saw dear on the uphill hike back to the parking lot and countless wildflowers. Another nice trip to Bodega.

  It has been our family tradition to celebrate Thanksgiving at Bodega Bay, and Pacific Jewel is our favorite house to stay. Plenty room for roaming around and the view is fantastic. The house has a great floor plan and the kitchen is big.
  The manager staff is very responsive and courteous. We love them!
  The only suggestion I have is the kitchen supplies can be improved and need some bigger soup bowels.

It was so relaxing to watch the boats and the waves and it was fun to watch the golfers. The house is very pet friendly. Our lab/retriever mix really enjoyed himself. Easy walk to the beach. The only suggestions I would make is for the owners to consider updating the bathrooms. The faucets, tiles, and woodwork was very outdated. Also, the slider downstairs was difficult to open and close. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to others!

  Large, comfortable home with full "wall of windows" in living/dining room. The home is just above the 9th green of Bodega Links golf course so you can watch the golfers and the boats out on the ocean at the same time! Bring binoculars. We saw a bobcat on the golf course (from the window of the house about 8:30am). Truly! The house is a bit dated but, no worries, all very clean with tile counters in the kitchen and plenty of pots/pans/serving dishes/ etc. Just remember to bring (or maybe owners will provide next time) your own coffee filters so as not to have to run to town (Pelican Plaza) to pick up at the grocery store. We had clam chowder (take out) from Fishetarian Fish Market in town. Excellent. Long line so it's best to order online if you want to avoid that process. The home is a short walk past the lodge down to the beach. Dogs have to be on leash there.
  Altogether two nights was barely enough time to enjoy all this house and area have to offer. We had stopped at the bread store and artisan cheese shop in Freestone on the way. Check them out as well.

  We really enjoyed the time we spent at this property. While the bathroom upstairs could use an update (we didn't see the downstairs), we really enjoyed the main living area and kitchen. The view is amazing and we enjoyed the fireplace too. The kitchen is very well equipped, there are a ton of dishes/pots pans and nearly every utensil you can imagine. Being able to park in the garage was a nice bonus. I would definitely stay here again, it was a nice getaway. It's an easy 5 minute walk down to the beach and we took advantage of it.

  This house was absolutely perfect! Great views and loved the proximity to the club house. The home was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. Very pet friendly with a fenced area for our dog to do her business. We found the coffee pot didn't work and within a few hours the rental company delivered a new one to our door. We have been renting coast homes for many years and have found this company to be very nice to work with and have never had a bad experience We will continue to rent from them in the future.

Lots of room for the kids to play and my sister and I enjoyed the spacious kitchen, although the kitchen tools could use some updating. We liked the location of the house--so easy to walk down to the beach, even with toddlers. We want to make a coastal vacation an annual thing and we'll definitely consider staying here again.

  We were delighted to be able to spend a month at Pacific Jewel! This home is in a perfect location in the South Harbour area, with easy beach access and panoramic ocean views. It is spacious with the great room, kitchen, guest bath, laundry area and master suite upstairs and den and second bedroom and bath downstairs. The enclosed courtyard in front was perfect and secure for us to be able to let our dogs outside without a leash. The only negative was the carpet which needed a thorough cleaning, and wood or tile floors would work better in this pet friendly home. However the rest of the home was clean and while the interior decor is somewhat dated, it was very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the outside upper deck and lower patio and spectacular views. (We brought our own high director chairs for the upper deck because there is no ocean view with the existing deck chairs). The staff were great to work with and responded quickly when we called with questions. It was a perfect month at this home and we hope to return soon!

We have rented many homes in this area and this location and view cannot be beat. The view is panoramic and just makes you feel so good.   Our overall experience was wonderful - relaxing and carefree. The view from the home was exceptional and it had all the amenities we needed and then some. The beach was a short walk and easily accessible. Wildlife was amazing - we saw a bobcat right out on the golf course. The home itself has a great floor plan - very roomy with incredible views from every room. There were only a few issues - some light bulbs were burned out. The gardener had a remote control for the garage door and we walked out of the house to find a man standing in our garage which was a little disconcerting.

  Pacific Jewel is well titled. It sits peacefully along Gull Drive next to a view corridor empty lot and overlooks the 9th green. The ocean waves lull you to sleep and the stars twinkle on the ocean. Sunsets are postcard perfect. There are several trains to the beach and the clubhouse is a very doable 5 minute walk. The split level home is perfect for a family as well as for several couples to have private space. We highly recommend Pacific Jewel!

  This home was perfect for my husband and I and another couple. With two king size beds, one upstairs master and a downstair bedroom (both had views of the water), a bathroom and family room, it gave each couple a bit of privacy. It's a bit outdated (tile counter tops/kitchen floors), but we don't care about that too much. Bodega Bay Escapes staff were great and very helpful with booking and checking in was easy. I will definitely be staying here again and would recommend it to others.

This house is showing its age however with sliding entry doors that won't slide open as wheels are worn out. Windows difficult to open and cupboards and drawers without pull hardware. Carpet shows dirt/stain spots and wear through out. Handy garage for secure parking is a plus as well as proximity to beach access.

  We love to stay at this home because of the view. But to be honest, the home could use some updates and repairs. The screen doors on the sliders are very hard to open and close. The slider on the shower has the same issue. One doesn't move at all and the other is very hard to move. The kitchen needs new utensils. There is only one set of towels per person in the master bath. If you want more towels and wash rags, you have to go downstairs even though there is plenty of storage for them in the master. Having said that, the view is worth it all. We have stayed at this house at least 20 times over the last 9+ years. The vacation rental company is awesome.

  Three beautiful days along the north coast of California. Nice moderately easy walk to beach from the house. Fun to see golfers challenged by the green and bunkers in our view of the Pacific Ocean. A relaxing getaway!
  The home has a 70’s vibe that you could say is almost back in fashion 😊 . Someone who stayed at the property prior and did not clean dishes very well, we found dirty glasses and dishwater in cupboards. We soaked, washed and ran through dishwasher and guess what? the dishes were clean. The dishwasher also seems to be be getting a little old not doing a great job, might be time to change out soon. Definitely need to clean dishes of any food residue before using dishwasher to get them clean.

  The most desirable aspects of Pacific jewel were its location and view - within a 5 minute walk to Doran Beach. The size of the home was good for 5 - 6 persons. Though outdated as regards interior spaces, the size was good and an attempt had been made to update furniture. Unfortunately, the television in the main room did not work and there were several other maintenance issues. On the whole, our experience was favorable.

  electric range (careful not to burn food), only one set of towels/sheets for week (had to ask for laundry detergent for washer)also needed to launder the placemats as they had old dried food on them. Rain prior week brought in ants. The ants were killed with bait, but ant bodies were everywhere and bait traps stuck to kitchen counter. The view is exceptional and the location is perfect. Put up with inconveniences and just enjoy the super beach!!!
