With the ability to comfortably sleep 8-10 guests, this beach retreat is ideal for families or groups. Accommodations for 8 include two luxurious bedroom suites with private bathrooms and two additional bedrooms with a shared bath, use of premium air mattress allows for up to 10 guests.

  This is my 4th stay in this home. It’s great for multiple couples or a girls trip. Good location, well stocked and comfy beds. I recommend more patio furniture for the deck. They used to have comfy wicker furniture, that has changed. Other than that, highly recommend. Bonus for families with the game room.

  Our family birthday gathering at Slater's by the Sea was great! The location of the home was exactly what we hoped for. The views of the ocean and bluffs from the dining room and living room were amazing with the large bay windows banking three walls in that living area. The home is spacious with the four bedrooms and three bathrooms, it allows for four adult couples to share comfortably for several nights. Although the home is older, it has been remodeled and feels fresh. The management company was very responsive to all our communications and when we had an issue with the dinning table leg, they sent someone out to fix in within an hour. We did have a bit of an issue with the linens and pillows in one of the bedrooms smelling like mildew, but again, the management picked up the pillows in question and by the end of day had returned to us fresh replacement pillows.
  Overall, the place was just what we were hoping for our family gathering. The one suggestion (or caution) I have is in regards to the dining area/table. If you are a group of 4-8 and like to play table games and eat together, it is a very tight squeeze sitting around the large square oversize table. It sits in a corner and very near the kitchen island and can't really be moved more than a few inches. It would be better to replace the square table with a long rectangle table and benches that allows people to get in and out from around the table more easily. Other than that, the place was great!   Such a great house, very clean and spacious, comes with everything you need to have a relaxing time from sauna to hot tub. Beautiful views, full large kitchen, big comfy beds and couches for relaxing. We had a great time with 3 adult couples, plenty of room and space to hang together or separately. Drive down to the golf clubhouse, park and then walk down to the beach. So easy! We will definitely book again!

  This is our second stay in this house. I love the layout and it's great for four couples. It has changed ownership since the last time though and they got rid of the cozy patio furniture, that was a bummer. I wish they would bring that back as I have this house scheduled in November too. Other than that, the house is perfectly stocked for a group!

  As a family, we have spent many wonderful Thanksgivings in various rental homes at Bodega Harbour and Slaters by the the Sea is a new favorite. Lovely spacious home with great views. The house was very clean, nicely furnished and had very comfortable beds. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed to produce our feast. Lots of goodies in the pantry for guest's use. Especially appreciated and well used was the garage/playroom. Lots of activities for everyobne to enjoy.
  Thank you Bodega Bay Escapes for your usual great service, especially delivery of extra propane for the BBQ within an hour of request! Wish we could give you 10 stars.

  fabulous location and beautiful, clean and comfortable house. Power outage Saturday night unfortunate - thank goodness owner provided a couple of lanterns and a flashlight. Sofa is low and deep making it hard for elders to get in and out of - no living room chairs so had to perch on the dining table chairs - awkward. But terrific views and great location. Very pleased!

  This house worked well for 2 families with tween kids, with plenty of games, ping pong, and hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds comfy. Furnishings not the newest but everything worked. Outdoor patio space was nice, though none of the main rooms open to the outdoors- you have to go through basement bedroom to get to hot tub. Hikes down to the beach were gorgeous, highly recommend. Enjoyed our stay!

  LOVED this house!! Best beach house I have rented and I have rented quite a few. It is very clean and the kitchen has everything you need, even a blender! The beds are very comfortable. Even a fireplace in two of bedrooms. Great view... lots of space for everyone. We were sad to leave. We will definitely rent this house again.
  The only downfall is low couches are hard to get in and out of for those with disabilities or elderly guests and you can't see that amazing view when sitting down because they are so low...
  
  The outside seating/grilling area is downstairs. If anyone in your group can't do stairs and you want to spend time outside, this might not be the house for you.

  We enjoyed the fabulous views from the kitchen, dining and family room. This is a very well equipped and decorated property. The downstairs bedroom had an odor of mildew that needs to be corrected, but otherwise, it is a fantastic property. Access to the beach is a .25 mile walk to a trailhead and another .5 miles on a dirt trail to the beach. Doran Beach is a 5 min drive, which was more desirable.

  Great house, nice views of ocean. The house is laid out nicely with the rooms, living room, bathrooms and kitchen. We liked that the house offered a lot in the kitchen. We liked the fact that house had plastic cups and plates along with regular nice plates and glasses. This made it easier to feed our younger kids without worrying that they might drop something. Hot tub real plus! The house has 3 steps up to the living/ kitchen. If you have an older person with walker, it might be a concern if they are not fully mobile to do the 3 steps. The house had a lot of towels and blankets to stay warm. The house was really insulated with all that cold wind, nothing got through.

  Our Experience was great. My mother and I took my 4 12-15 year old kids. They loved the table tennis and the sauna. The views are great and when it was windy out we all watched a movie together.   Great views! Clean house, nice location. Beds are comfortable. We’ve stayed here a couple times now. Ping pong table is a lot of fun and hot tub a good size. TVs in each room too, a plus! Perfect for two families If you cook you may need to bring some of your own pans and serving dishes. Also there was no coffee pot only pour over single serve - but we managed and actually enjoyed, purchased our own for home.

  Stayed here with 5 of my high school buddies. Super clean and comfy place. New and fully stocked kitchen with lotsa room for 6 people to cook and hangout. Very nicely decorated, although we did have to move some stuff around just to get the place more functional. The owners seem to have a thing for Clint Eastwood. ;-) Only minor issue is getting from the kitchen to the patio we had to go downstairs and through the downstairs bedroom, so a lot of shuttling of food up and down. Finally, beware of the neighbor across the ravine. We were heating up the coals for a BBQ, which, as everyone knows, creates some flames. This neighbor called the fire department on us! The fire folks were super nice to us, said our food smelled good and to just carry on. LOL!

  Nice, spacious home. Plenty of amenities. Our group had mobility issues (bad knees, foot surgery), so having the bedrooms on the main floor was great.
  Seating was uncomfortable. Couches sat too low (great for napping). Airflow was limited, however the house fan worked well. Some windows were hard to open.
  Overall, the house was clean, nice, spacious. Great for families on the go.

  The house was very roomy, had a great view, and was clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.(Small exeption-needs vacuuming under the bed in one of the main floor bedrooms.)   Really nice house for a family gathering or reunion.
  
  The kitchen was pretty well supplied, the only items we could recommend it needs are a colander and or strainer, a can opener and a large serving bowl for a salad. Great game selection in the closet!
  We enjoyed the game room in the garage, but all the table tennis balls were smashed when we arrived, so we had to go out to purchase them.
