Welcome to Chartwell Haven, a very popular home tucked away in a charming neighborhood at Salmon Creek Beach. This beautiful A-Frame, two-story home is perfect for your next family escape. Located just steps from Salmon Creek Beach it's a short 5 minute walk to the sand. The home is a 2 bedroom so to speak in the main house there's 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom w/ loft w/sleeper sofa. A fully-equipped kitchen, dining table, living space with large picture windows to take in the stunning views of of the Pacific Ocean, rolling sand dunes, and Salmon Creek. The second bedroom is in a detached unit in the backyard just steps from the main house, complete with 2 twins & a bathroom. Enjoy the hot tub in the fenced in back yard and the wild life along the Sonoma Coast. Chartwell Haven is centrally located just 2 miles north of the heart of town and about 1/2 hour drive to Sebastopol, Guerneville or Petaluma. Come escape away.

  We loved that the twin bedroom was detached from house and acted like a studio apartment... my husband and I took that room and the twin beds were comfortable! ( he snores loud so twin beds were perfect,LoL!Our adult son and his future wife took the master bedroom.
  We enjoyed the house... and used hot tub... it is more accommodating for two but all four of us got in but tight. Nevertheless it was fun!
  We enjoyed the evening at the fire pit, and all of us upstairs to watch a movie.
  As for the location easy walk to beach, bring a kite.we also enjoyed walking the community and met lovely neighbors.
  Only issue if adults take the twin studio room you can’t blow dry hair with heater on and all lights on.
  We had to be smart enough and turn heater and some lights off. Power went off twice on us.
  Indeed we would rent place again!

  This is our second time staying at Chartwell Haven. It is the perfect size for 5 or 6 guests. Love the firepit and hot tub! The views from upstairs are amazing and we spent lots of time on the front porch!

  I happen to sleep out there one night and it smelled really bad. And the rest of the stay was great except the place needs a dishwasher

  My family and I had a great stay in this home by the beach. The house was quirky but cozy and the location can't be beat. The detached "cabin" with the two twin beds was not ideal sleeping arrangements for two young kids, and I wish there was a dishwasher, but other than that the house was great and the 5 minute walk to the large Salmon creek beach made it all worth while. Would definitely recommend this Bodega Bay Escape, just plan your sleeping arrangements accordingly.

  Light and airy describes this recently redecorated A-frame style cottage in a quiet residential Salmon Creek neighborhood. A wall of windows bathes the interior with the most beautiful light. Families of deer stroll by in the morning and evenings.
  We loved the small kitchen with the sweet Scandinavian cupboard. Ya. Easy to wash up dishes without a dishwasher. Comfy king bed; tiny bathroom with poor lighting (needs some higher watt bulbs!). This cottage is on a big piece of property, with a smaller cottage in back. My son stayed there and was quite comfortable, except for the mildew smell. We opened all the windows and doors but could not get rid of that smell.(Owners, check that out.)
  It has great decks in front and back. You can truly see the ocean from the front deck and the living room. So peaceful. TV is upstairs in the loft. We did not watch much TV, but it is inconvenient in my opinion to locate it up fairly steep stairs. We had dinner at the Restaurant at Bodega Lodge, the Fishetarian, Inn at the Tides, and bought fresh fish to cook at the Chartwell Haven. All good places to dine.
  We had a relaxing and wonderful stay and reprieve from the heat in Sacramento. So we would come again. Yes.
