  We loved our stay. The view is beautiful, the neighborhood quiet and the access to the beaches very convenient. The house was tastefully furnished and thoughtfully equipped. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was in perfect working condition. We felt very welcome and at home. I would strongly recommend this rental. The Bodega Bay Escape team was very responsive and super helpful with the check in.

  We’ve enjoyed our stay. It was nice to wake up to the ocean view and see the sunset. The kids enjoyed the game room. The walk to the beach was pretty quick. It was nice animal watching, the deers come around early in the morning and we’ll always see the birds. The only downfall was there was no dishwasher.

  This rental was so cute with beautiful views and absolutely peaceful. The house has everything you need including board games and books for the whole family to enjoy. The fireplace was so cozy at night and in the morning. Despite being a smaller home it felt very spacious and open with plenty of room for the whole family or a girls weekend getaway. We will definitely stay here again!

  Life's a Beach was is located in a very quiet neighborhood with windows framing a great ocean view. The home was clean and updated. Kitchen was well stocked and owners supply a large amount of indoor and outdoor games to enjoy. We were just a few minutes drive from the Kortum trail which is an easy stroll and offers amazing views of the coastline. Mostly we enjoyed just relaxing in the comfy furniture, whale watching and enjoying the quietness.

  Loved this little house. Easy walk to the beach (a couple to choose from amd others nearby). About 7 minute drive to restaurant and small grocery store in Bodega bay. Good beds (even the sofabed.) Clean, looks like it was remodeled recently, while retaining the charm of an old house. Nice outdoor spaces. Inside games and outside games provided. Kitchen pretty well-stocked. Only thing lacking was dry measuring cups and a whisk. Would stay here again.

  When we arrived at the rental, we were immediately impressed with the location and the beauty of our surroundings. Inside the rental was absolutely gorgeous, from the detail of decor, to the cleanliness, to the comfort of the master bed. But the reality set in that it was absolutely freezing. The host did let us know it’s cold and to prepare, however we wish we would’ve brought a space heater with us. We wanted to light a fire and messaged the host but never heard back so that was a big bummer. We literally had to stay under major blankets the entire time and we could see our breath in the rental because it was so cold. I would highly recommend to either bring your own space heater or find a different rental because at such an expensive rate and regardless of all the amazing other positives, being freezing like that was close to torture. So would we recommend it? Yes only with the suggestion of bring your own heater. Also to I thought it was odd that there was a Duraflame At the fireplace along with a lighter there but apparently the fireplace was glued shut. This was very confusing. Otherwise an absolutely gorgeous place
